Last week Danish/Swedish outfit Star Rats released their new album ‘Screw The Consequences’, an awesome addition to the Scandinavian sleaze rock scene. Today Dennis Post, self proclaimed “guitar playing idiot” in the band, gives us the inside story on the rockers in this installment of our Who, Where, What and Why Q&A interview series…

Who?
“… am I? Dennis Post, the guitar playing idiot from Denmark’s premier sleaze metal band Star Rats, who just released their third album ‘Screw The Consequences’.”

Where?
“… am I? I’m sitting at home in my bedroom trying to build up some much needed stamina after a rough weekend with two release parties in both Sweden and Denmark for our new album. The cool thing about having a Swedish member of the band is that you have to do it in both countries. The downside is that you for some fucked up reason seem to triple the hangovers… That doesn’t make any sense!?”

What?
“… are our plans for the next couple of months? Playing live in Denmark, Sweden, Finland and Germany plus working on hitting Italy, Spain and France late 2009/early 2010. And of course honor our sponsorship with Jägermeister by showing our affection for their delish’ spirits!”

Why?
“… am I wearing more makeup than a Czech prostitute? Because I can!”
