Danish/Swedish electropop diva and singer in the late indie outfit Lampshade, (As In) RebekkaMaria Andersson, has released the first single from her second solo album (no title or release date yet). Produced by Johan Eckeborn ‘Oh Solitude’ is more nice girl pop than the sassy, femme fatale ditto of the 2008 debut ‘Queen Of France’.
There’s a B-side, too, titled ‘Robin Parts’ and composed using samples from the great Danish composer Carl Nielsen’s second symphony. You can check that out on her MySpace along with ‘Oh Solitude’ and a few songs from ‘Queen Of France’.
