Devil In These Guys: Solitude (track)
Categories: Alternative • Sweden • Tracks

I was tipped about Swedish one-woman act Devil In These Guys aka Ida Bergman recently and thought I’d share the alternative folkster with you, too. With her compelling vocal and the guitar as primary weapons, throwing in bits of bells, (toy-)piano, strings etc for elegant effect, she moves in melancholic ways that could have been thoroughly depressing if it wasn’t so beautiful. Oh, and then she’s the much talked about Jaw Lesson aka Hajen aka Amanda Bergman’s sister…

Glad you found me, thank you.
A small correction though…. it’s not bells.. its wine glasses, both empty and filled… and a melodica…
peace out.
You’re welcome – and thanks for the correction. Don’t want to be misinforming people…
Hi again! just to let you know some new songs uploaded, that least two of them should be… not what you could call melancholic close to depressive… but still beautiful… more like beautiful slow dance…
Cool… Will check them out ;o)

Hi Kali,
Have looked around a bit, but can’t find more on her and I’m not sure she’s even recording music anymore.
Let me know if you can do better,
Peter
