Their background in movies and theatre doesn’t deny itself when Icelandic duo Belafonte aka Sara Marti Gudmundsdottir and Styrmir Sigurdsson serve up their theatrical pop with almost equal measures of jazz, 70s funk and electronica in an eclectic, quirky – and usually fun – mix. According to plan they will release their debut on Friday, but it is already available through the Fair Play in Music marketplace, Gogoyoko.
