Earlier this year Swedish rapper Jaeger aka Jesper Jäger released his debut ‘Futuretro EP’ with four tracks of cool, Common inspired hip hop. One, ‘Push’ (featuring Pitz), found it’s way to me recently and it’s really working for me. I like the organic groove and the sloppy, intentionally crap breaks. I like Jaeger’s laid back flow and once I learned not to focus excessively on the (quite dominant) circus organ I began liking that too.
