Thanks for sharing your thoughts and recommendations on this 2010 preview. Unfortunately most of the bands you mention have still to reach the ALL SCANDINAVIAN HQ, but the great Susanne Sundfør made the 20 Best Albums of 2010 list. If you haven’t already check it out here:

What about Phone Joan? A band that deserves a way bigger audience. Their debut “The Early Sounds Of Joan” is a rock’n'roll classic. Kverlertak is not metioned here either? Neither is Shining or Susanne Sundfør??

Moddi, Therese Aune, Einar Stray, Megaphonic Thrift, Kråkesølv, Julie Stokkendal, Batte & Serena Maneesh especially!
Einar Stray won’t release anything untill 2011, I’ve heard.

As a reader from the UK, it’s pretty sickening how much quality Scandinavia has, and the amount of brilliant music the region creates in comparison to how many people live there is ridiculous. Looks like it’s going to continue well into the next decade with this lot, too. Will definitely be looking into the ones that I’ve not yet listened to.
