ALL SCANDINAVIAN favorites Volbeat, Mercenary and Raunchy stand a very good chance of having to take the stage more than once at the Danish Metal Awards (DMeA) on Nov 15. Volbeat’s ‘Guitar Gangsters & Cadillac Blood’, Mercenary’s ‘Architect of Lies’ and Raunchy’s ‘Wasteland Discotheque’ are all in the run for Album of the Year and Production of the Year (all three albums, incidentally, produced by metal wizard Jacob Hansen). Also nominated for several awards are album debutants Dawn of Demise and Scamp.
