Benni Hemm Hemm: Retaliate

Come March/April (the closest we get on a date) Iceland’s Benni Hemm Hemm will release his third EP ‘Retaliate’, his first with all English lyrics which probably has something to do with him relocating to Scotland. The EP is recorded in his Edinburgh home with Benni playing almost all instruments – exceptions being double bass by Emily Scott and horns by Peter Liddle – and according to this the five songs will feature “knives, gold, lazy pioneers, confident talibans, blood thirsty vampires, Stan-Stan-the-caretaker-man and last, but not least blood, lots of blood”.
On top of the release of ‘Retaliate’ Benni Hemm Hemm will tour Europe in March and April and you can see the full itinerary on his MySpace.
