March 22 Danish quartet The Floor Is Made Of Lava release their sophomore effort titled ‘Howl At The Moon’. I’ve had a chance to hear the album, produced by Kellermensch frontman Sebastian Wolff, which sees them depart from the Arctic Monkeys inspired, tongue in cheek dance floor rock of the debut ‘All Juice, No Fruit’ (2007) and enter classic rock territory with an album saluting the acts that had them fall in love with rock in the first place.
First single ‘All Outta Love’ can be heard on MySpace, but as a special treat The Floor Is Made Of Lava have decided to give away a free track, ‘The Bigger Picture’, in exchange for your email address. Get it on their website – it’s definitely worth it.
