Back in 2008 Moto Boy aka Oskar Humlebo released both an eponymous debut album and the five song mini-album ‘For Martha’, containing four cover versions of classical pieces like ‘Pie Jesu’ and ‘Ave Maria’ – both great in their own, different way with Humlebo’s stunning vocal the commanding focal point. And it is again on this solid second full length, which you can download for free on his website.

Written, recorded and produced by Moto Boy himself (again), his Flying V guitar is (again) a principal instrument in his dreamy pop songs alluding Rufus Wainwright here and there and spiced up with some beats, bass and keys, but this time he’s added the strings from ‘For Martha’ which give ‘Lost In The Call’’s lover hurt lyrics a hauntingly melancholic backbone.
