She Loops The Endless Strip Of Tape (FO)
Behind the moniker She Loops The Endless Strip Of Tape we find Faroese musician and brilliant singer Ólavur Jákupsson, who first impressed me on Gestir’s 2006 debut album ‘Burtur Frá Toftunum’. ‘Make It’ is the only track on his MySpace, and it’s 2 minutes and 48 seconds of gloomy, downbeat electronica with an industrial touch that has left me intrigued.

WHO DO YOU THINK EVERYBODY SHOULD HEAR?
Although we spend a lot of time out there, we can’t claim to have heard every band on MySpace, so please feel free to recommend bands – Scandinavian, of course – you think everybody deserve to hear. We do reserve the right not to feature your band(s), but we guarantee to check them out. Drop links to: spacescan (a) allscandinavian.com
