Continuing the From the Inbox feature here are a couple of videos by electro maestro Andreas Tilliander and pop prodigy Sebastian Lind plus tracks from Marybell Katastrophy, Captain Cougar, Ronnie Flex and Alice In Videoland among others. MARYBELL KATASTROPHY (DK)
May 26 Danish avant-garde electro pop-rock outfit Marybell Katastrophy will release the first single from their followup to 2008s debut ‘The More’, but already you can check out ‘Difference’ on MySpace or their blog – and of course in the player below. The single will be exclusively available on the Marybell blog from May 26 and with a purchase you’ll get a subscription to a string of other versions by other artists.

ANDREAS TILLIANDER (SE)
A couple of months ago Swedish electronica maestro Andreas Tilliander released the four track EP ‘Showtime’ featuring two new Tilliander dub tracks (‘Medication’ and ‘Stay King’) and two remixes. Accompanying it is this awesome video, directed by Nicholas Wakeham and including both tracks. Download ‘Medication’ with a Right Click + Save As here!

CAPTAIN COUGAR (SF) (Photo)
Back in January Finnish quintet Captain Cougar released their second full length, ‘Of Dreams Long Gone’, following up on 2007s acclaimed debut ‘Chapters’. I will tell you more about the new album later, but for now here’s first single ‘Too Late’ for your listening pleasure.

SKAMBANKT (NO)
Come September Norwegian punk rockers Skambankt will release their fourth and yet untitled full length album. Monday first single ‘Mantra’ was released, and by the sound of it we can expect more of that pönk excellence we’ve come to hold so dear.

RONNIE FLEX (FO)
Faroese house producer Ronnie Flex hit the ALL SCANDINAVIAN inbox recently with the cracking, deep electrohouse track ‘You Need Love’. I think it’s awesome and if you do too, then go download it here!

SEBASTIAN LIND (DK)
Monday young Danish pop talent Sebastian Lind released his excellent eponymous debut album and here’s the animated video for single ‘Wait And See’, produced by Bodie Jahn-Mulliner and Sylvester Rishøj and reminding me a little of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s ‘The Little Prince’.

ALICE IN VIDEOLAND (SE)
Swedish electropop quartet Alice In Videoland are currently working on their fourth full length (no title or release date yet) and a couple of weeks ago they released discolicious first single ‘Spaceship’, which you can download for free at wonderlandrecords.com.

BLACK LIGHT WHITE LIGHT (DK)
From Denmark comes this trio dabbling in dark, semi-psychedelic rock with inspiration found in acts like Black Rebel Motorcycle Club. Black Light White Light recently released their three song debut EP, ‘Directors Cut EP’, produced by Johan Forsman (The Soundtrack Of Our Lives, Jens Lekman etc.) which they’re streaming in full on MySpace. In the player here is the great opening track ‘Higher Than Low’.

MACKAPER (SE)
Back in January Stockholm organ duo Mackaper aka Markus Hulthén and Per Nyström were one half of a SpaceScan, pleasing me with their instrumental blue pop. In February they released their debut album, ‘When All Is Sad And Dawn’, and now they have two very different remixes of first single ‘Tale Of Tales’ by Joxaren (David Giese) and Ultra-El (Oskar Moberg) out. Check out my personal favorite of the two here – Ultra-El’s it is – and the other on Mackaper’s MySpace.

DISCO ENSEMBLE (SF)
As mentioned before Finnish pop-punks Disco Ensemble will release their fourth album, ‘The Island Of Disco Ensemble’ on May 26, but right now they’re streaming the whole shebang on ylex.yle.fi. Also a new video for single ‘Protector’ is finished – check that out on discoensemble.com.
