I really wanted to catch these guys at SPOT Festival, but missed them completely. Anyway, that shouldn’t keep me from sharing the great, 80s-inspired electropop duo Villa Nah with you – if you haven’t already heard of them through the rave reviews of their debut album ‘Origin’ (out May 17). Fibes, Oh Fibes! (SE)
Continuing the “stuff I missed” theme here’s Swedish trio Fibes, Oh Fibes!, whose gig at Siesta! Festival I never got around. They excel in shiny soul-pop with light disco ‘n funk touches and released their third, Grammy winning and aptly titled full length ‘1987’ in Sweden last year. Here’s the single ‘Love Child’:
