SpaceScan10 #32: Frederik Teige and Teleskop
Categories: Alternative • Denmark • Electronica • Features • Sweden

The SpaceScan selected two this week are two unsigned solo acts from Sweden and Denmark. First up is Teleskop aka Olof Svenblad, who work in somber electropop ways, and he’s followed by Frederik Teige, who is gearing up to release what could be a very, very good alternative pop debut album. Check them out, let us know what you think and then have a splendid weekend.
Teleskop (SE)
Hailing from Stockholm, Sweden, artist gone musician Olof Svenblad has just very recently made his musical output as Teleskop available for the masses, presenting two somber treats of electropop on MySpace. One is ‘The Horrible’ which you can check out in the player below and download with a simple Right Click + Save As here.

Efterklang live band member Frederik Teige is gearing up to release his debut album ‘Body God’ (no date yet), and August 4 he released great first single ‘What Is New’ exclusively on Bad Panda Records. A straight-up guitar driven rock song the single is accompanied by two beautiful alternative pop songs on MySpace, all making grand promises for the album. Check out two more songs on Bandcamp and download ‘What Is New’ here.

WHO DO YOU THINK EVERYBODY SHOULD HEAR?
Although we spend a lot of time out there, we can’t claim to have heard every band on MySpace, so please feel free to recommend bands – Scandinavian, of course – you think everybody deserve to hear. We do reserve the right not to feature your band(s), but we guarantee to check them out. Drop links to: spacescan (a) allscandinavian.com
