Video: Moto Boy – Pie Jesu

On December 3 Swedish one-man-band Moto Boy aka Oskar Humlebo will release the mini album ‘For Martha’, containing four classical pieces such as ‘Ave Maria’ and ‘Pie Jesu’ and brand new Humlebo song ‘A Room Without You’.
The video is for the cover of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s ‘Pie Jesu’, recorded this summer at festivals in Malmö and Emmaboda, Sweden, with a Super8 camera. Visually it’s not particularly interesting but musically it’s nothing short of stunning, reminding me of Jeff Buckley’s beautiful rendition of ‘Corpus Christi Carol’.
