SpaceScan10 #36: I See Horses and Kate & After
Categories: Features • Norway • Rock • Sweden

The SpaceScan selected two this Friday have two things in common: They’re working in rock and are giving away free EPs. Four part Norwegian and one part Scottish quintet I See Horses released their second four-song EP in April, while Swedish quintet Kate & After released their first this August. Hope you’ll enjoy both (or, at the very least one of them) and then have a splendid weekend.
I See Horses (NO)
One Scotsman and four Norwegians make up I See Horses, who released their second EP ‘Has My Stealth Been In Vain’ back in April. The EP carries four rock songs reminiscing the darker parts of the 80s from somewhere in between Arcade Fire and U2, it is free and it’s awesome. So go download it (will take you to 4shared.com).

Kate & After (SE) (Photo)
August 19 Gothenburg based quintet Kate & After released their first EP ‘Things To Do’, sporting three sweet, energetic guitar and Hammond driven indiepop songs. The EP along with their first (Christmas) single ‘Snow Angel’ from 2009 is streaming on MySpace and you can download all four on Kate & After’s website.

WHO DO YOU THINK EVERYBODY SHOULD HEAR?
Although we spend a lot of time out there, we can’t claim to have heard every band on MySpace, so please feel free to recommend bands – Scandinavian, of course – you think everybody deserve to hear. We do reserve the right not to feature your band(s), but we guarantee to check them out. Drop links to: spacescan (a) allscandinavian.com
