SpaceScan11 #04: Bloody Beach and Underdøgs
Categories: Features • Finland • Norway • Rock

This Friday’s SpaceScan is all about rock – and free stuff (yeah!) – presenting Norwegian quartet Bloody Beach, who do Brit-style guitar rock with a Caribbean touch and have a free EP available for download, and Finnish quintet Underdøgs, who work in grandiose pop-rock and offer their great song ‘Signs’ as a free taste. Hope you like them and then have a joyous weekend.
Bloody Beach (NO)
This Norwegian quartet recently signed with Tellé Records (the first home of Röyksopp, Datarock and Kings Of Convenience among others) and will soon release their debut 7”. Right now Bloody Beach are giving away a five song EP, presenting their quite catchy combo of British, guitar driven rock from the past couple of decades and Caribbean flavors. Here’s ‘Bonanza’ and if you dig it go download the EP here!

Underdøgs (SF) (Photo)
Hailing from Helsinki, Finland, this quintet dabble in grandiose, melancholic poprock in the vein of acts like Coldplay and Kent. Underdøgs have been at it since 2003, where they released their first of so far four EP’s. On top they toured Tokyo back in 2006 and have released two singles, latest ‘Scarsigns’ featuring the songs ‘Scar’ and ‘Signs’, the latter in the player and available for download here!
