SpaceScan11 #09: Black Leather Machine and Young Dreams
Categories: Alternative • Denmark • Features • Norway • Rock

Abandoning the “free stuff” theme (sorry) from the past two Friday’s, but continuing the “rather different” ditto, this SpaceScan feature the 12 man tropical pop collective Young Dreams from Norway and the Danish quartet Black Leather Machine, who play a punchy “Suicide gone garagerock” style of rock. As usual I hope you’ll enjoy both, or at the very least one, and hope you’ll have a great weekend.
Young Dreams (NO)
They formed in 2009, back in November they were part of the Music Alliance Pact, and last month 12 man tropical pop collective Young Dreams released their first 7” with the two brilliant songs ‘Young Dreams’ and ‘Flight 376’ (in the player). A third, ‘Expectations’, is also streaming on their Facebook-page and a debut album is in the making. Looking forward to it…

Last year Danish quartet Black Leather Machine – sounding a bit like Suicide playing garagerock – released the singles ‘Sex Express’ (in the player) and ‘Into The Fire’, and by the looks of it their debut album ‘Rock’n’Roll Dancer’, produced by Thomas Troelsen and Kenneth Bager, will be released on Bager’s label Music For Dreams this spring. Looking forward to that too…
