In Flames triple at Bandit Rock Awards

Last Friday the Swedish rock’n’roll radio station Bandit had their annual Rock Award show at venue Tyrol in Stockholm with thrash metal quintet In Flames the big winners with three of five awards given to Swedish acts. ALL SCANDINAVIAN are also happy to note, that Dead By April picked up the award for Breakthrough of the Year. The awards and winners were:
Best Swedish Album: In Flames – ‘A Sense Of Purpose’
Best Swedish Live Act: In Flames
Best Swedish Group/Artist: In Flames
Breakthrough of the Year: Dead By April
The Bandit Special Award: The Hellacopters
Also, the Bandit Rock Awards saluted the best in international rock and metal with awards distributed as follows:
Best International Group/Artist: Metallica
Best International Live Act: Iron Maiden
Best International Album: Metallica – ‘Death Magnetic’
International Breakthrough of the Year: Shinedown
