I’m slowly, but steadily getting more and more in to the Finnish electropop scene. A lot of really interesting stuff is coming out of the heavy-happy nation, e.g. ALL SCANDINAVIAN favorites Regina and Le Corps Mince de Françoise, and this morning I found this track by soon-to-be favorites TV OFF in my inbox (it can be yours, too, free of charge – link at the bottom).

Singer Sara and self-proclaimed “deadpan beatsman” Markku are currently in the process of finishing their debut album (no release date yet) and by the sound of ‘I Mind Now’ it stands every chance of being great. It’s just oozing sexy-cool, so laid back that you’d fear it would simply slow to a complete halt if it wasn’t because machines were taking care of most.

Understandably TV OFF are already getting attention around the world and this spring they’ll appear at The Great Escape Festival in the UK (May) and at events in Tokyo, Berlin and throughout Scandinavia. Also they are booked for the Madonna after-show events in Scandinavia and the Baltic’s.
