Scandinavia take over Reeperbahn Festival

Categories: DenmarkFinlandIcelandLiveNorwaySweden

Thursday through Saturday it is show time for the sixth edition of the Reeperbahn Festival in Hamburg. Bigger than ever this year it presents more than 190 artists in more than 30 clubs, churches and other venues around the vibrant Reeperbahn borough, and this year Scandinavia is again very well represented with no less than 32 bands and solo artists from Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Finland and Iceland in the lineup. And you get all this and more for just 59,50 Euro (three day festival pass).

Alongside the music program Reeperbahn Festival have also since the first year running been host to an ambitious arts program. Under the headline Reeperbahn Arts the festival offers more than 200 shows such as films, music related art, literature, street art and the Flatstock Europe Poster Convention, so even if you’re not that into music there’s plenty to do if you’re in or around Hamburg this weekend.
