Delay Trees: Tarantula/Holding On (track)

I received this track the other day through the SpaceScan hotline with a note saying: “We have no friends to send you our link, so here we are doing it ourselves.” Rather sad really, but thankfully Delay Trees are not the proudest bunch around, because this is awesome!
The unsigned (surprisingly) Finnish indiepop quartet have just released their seven song debut EP, ‘Soft Construction’, from which three songs are available on MySpace – among them this amazing piece of swirling, melodic melancholy that is one of the best songs I’ve heard so far this year. And the other two songs online are pretty damn great, too.
