In the first SpaceScan of April we presented this powerful Danish rock trio, who are currently in the process of recording their debut full length. Little yeLLs AloT singer and guitarist Jonas Lynge took time out to tell ALL SCANDINAVIAN about their efforts to scare off trigger happy gangsters, reflect on being in the twenties and reveal where they hide out.

Who?
“Three boys in their supposed prime. We’re in our twenties. We spend most of the teenage years dreaming about what it would it be like, and now that we’re here it is nothing like we thought it would be. Some claim that the thirties are the new twenties, but we don’t believe that. People made that up because they couldn’t make up their minds when it was expected of them. We’re not surprised, though, we’re opportunists. Jonas T plays his drums heavy and solid, Jonas L sings and plays the guitar while Palle plays a tight and dirty bass.”

Where?
“There is a basement by the lakes of Noerrebro in Copenhagen. An oasis where people who don’t want to participate in the present gangster war can go and let off some steam. As well as others, this is where we spend our days here finishing our first album. We play as loud as we can, hoping to scare away those silly gun men. In fact there are two places: The basement and then there’s a studio in Aarhus. This is where we record all main tracks for the 12 songs. So when we finish something downstairs, we send it back to Aarhus where our friend and producer Mr. Tranberg puts his magic touch on the sounds we bring him.”

What?
“To declare independence, that’s the right thing to do. In our case it would not be honest to create an album with one purpose and sound. We’ve been a band for a while now, so we want to make an album that tells the whole story. We got nothing to hide.”

Why?
“Lust, what else?”
