Exactly a month ago Danish label Crunchy Frog announced they had signed a deal with post-punk outfit Shiny Darkly with a debut EP to be released in May. This news I’ve missed completely until today, when I stumbled across the Danish trio and their so far four available tastes of their dark rocking noise-pop – ‘You Feel Like You Should’ and ‘He’s Suicidal’ possibly to be considered first singles of sorts, ‘Draculala’ and ‘Diana Do Drugs’ outtakes – on the www. Here’s my personal and immediate favorite of the four: ‘Diana Do Drugs’.
