So far Blood Command have released a handful of EP’s and two full length albums. The new album is called ’Funeral Beach’ and it is awesome (and when I say new I mean it’s a couple of months old, but hey: I only just discovered Blood Command and if you want news go to

Anyway: The Norwegians play a raw and mildly chaotic fusion of punk, hardcore, and deathpop and among the albums many highlights is ‘Cult Of The New Beat’, which sounds like a blend of Refused and Rage Against The Machine performed by a ferocious gang of punks fronted by a spectacularly pissed off Maja Ivarsson of The Sounds or Katie White of The Ting Tings (that would be frontwoman Silje Tombre).

Going through Blood Command’s back catalogue it is clear that they started off good and still manages to get better and better with each release. I can’t wait to hear what’s next…
