SpaceScan11 #27: Alabama Black Snakes and Dinosauruxia

Continuing the “rather different” theme set in last week’s SpaceScan, this Friday’s edition presents Alabama Black Snakes from Denmark and girl duo Dinosauruxia from Finland. The first dabble in Southern blues rock and have an album out, the latter do alternative electropop and have released an EP and a single last year. I haven’t been able to find much info on Danish outfit Alabama Black Snakes other than they have a self-produced debut album titled ‘Rhythm And Loose’ out and that they’re apparently streaming the whole shebang on Facebook. So go check out their groovy no-bullshit, right hand on balls delta blues rock…

Dinosauruxia (SF) (Photo)
Finnish girl duo Dinosauruxia aka Emilia Lagk and Sanna Lehto dabble in alternative electropop with off kilter vocals you’d either like or get slightly annoyed by. I’m sorta in between right now, but I really like their minimal, yet detailed beats. The girls have an EP and a single from last year under their belts, and here’s the latter titled ‘Safe’:
