It’s a sunny Friday outside the ALL SCANDINAVIAN headquarters and time for a short mention of two not particularly sunny acts in this week’s SpaceScan. So feast your ears on Swedish electropop duo LCTRISC, who release their new single ‘Sunbird’ on this very day (and even offer it as free download), and Icelandic quintet Vigri, who released their post- ‘n prog-rock debut album a couple of months ago. Today the men behind the moniker LCTRISC, Adam Jonsson and Oskar Linnaeus, release their brand new single ‘Sunbird’ (check out the video here!). Having moved towards a brighter sound and feel, the song is a sweet shot of melancholic electropop with a touch of the 1980s and to make things even sweeter Jonsson and Linnaeus are also offering the single as free download here!

Vigri (ISL)
Back in May Icelandic quintet Vigri, founded and fronted by brothers Bjarki and Hans Pjetursson, released their self-produced debut ‘Pink Boats’, which you can stream in full (and buy) at gogoyoko.com. It’s ambitious and compelling post-rock drawing on among others Pink Floyd and the progressive rock of the late 1960s and 1970s – and really rather good…
